Alekszej Fedoricsev is a businessman, owner of Fedcominvest, president and controlling stakeholder of AS Monaco Basket, sponsor of AS Monaco FC.

Life

Alekszej Fedoricsev was born on August 3, 1955 in Pavshino, USSR. As a youth, was actively engaged in sports: in the early 1970s, he played for the Zorky Krasnogorsk grass hockey team, later was invited to the backup of the FC Dynamo Moscow. After that, he played for FC Kryvbas. In 1987, left the USSR and relocated to Europe. Fedoricsev has been a Hungarian citizen and Monaco resident for over 35 years.

Business

Upon leaving the USSR, Fedoricsev was involved in the railway sleepers and mineral fertilizer trade. In December 1994, he registered a company FEDCOM in Monaco, specializing in the export of sulfur, fertilizers and grain from the former USSR, including Ukraine.

Athletic projects

FEDCOM has been supporting athletic projects in the Principality of Monaco since the late 1990s. The year 2025 signifies the 30th anniversary of the partnership between FEDCOM and AS Monaco FC, one of the most lasting collaborations between private business and sports club. This mutually beneficial partnership is similar in magnitude to such legendary pairings as PSV Eindhoven and Philips (since 1913) and Inter Milan and Pirelli (26 years, 1995-2011).

In January 2022, Alekszej Fedoricsev became President of AS Monaco Basket. Albert II, Prince of Monaco, who frequents the domestic games, has been recently among the guests at the Roca Team-arranged Christmas dinner. The Principality also owns a share of AS Monaco Basket. In2022, Alekszej Fedoricsev launched SKWEEK, sports media project offering broadcasts of all European League matches along with exclusive content for basketball fans. The platform actively develops sports media to engage new audiences.

Investment in Ukraine

Fedoricsev invested over one billion euros in the infrastructural projects in Ukraine, namely the modernization of Pivdennyi Port in Odeska Oblast. TIS Grain and TIS Fertilizes, funded by Fedoricsev, are some of Ukraine’s major taxpayers. Also, in April 2020, the businessman allocated ₴25 million to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in Odeska Oblast, purchasing some PCR-testing equipment and protective gear for medical professionals.

Criminal case

National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) initiated a criminal case against Fedoricsev, charging him with the attempted bribery of a state official. The businessman himself insists the allegations are fabricated, and believes they are part of illegal seizure of his assets in Ukraine.

Family

Spouse – Ulyana Tseytlina. The couple raises two sons.
